Medical Experts Reveal Likely Cause Of Lindsey Graham’s Sudden Death Amid Wild Speculations
An aortic tear likely caused U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham‘s sudden death over the weekend, medical experts have revealed.
Graham had just returned from a trip to Ukraine and spoke with President Donald Trump over the weekend, discussing foreign policy and his plans to strike Iran.
In a speech before his passing, Lindsey Graham stated that he “can’t die now,” as he still had a lot to work on and was even seeking reelection to the Senate.
Lindsey Graham’s Cause Of Death Explained As Aorta Tear

Senator Lindsey Graham’s sudden death sent the country into a frenzy, with some even suspecting foul play may have been involved.
However, preliminary medical findings conducted by his office have revealed that the sad incident was likely due to an aorta tear.
The diagnosis is a catastrophic tear in the body’s main artery, usually brought on by cardiovascular disease.
“The preliminary examination findings were: Aortic Dissection due to Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease,” the medical examiner’s office said, per AP News.
The report noted that the findings remain technically pending until toxicology and microscopic laboratory tests are completed, though no signs of foul play have been found yet.
“The death certificate will be PENDING until all the toxicological and microscopic testing are finalized, and at that point the death certificate will be updated to reflect the cause of death and appropriately classify the manner of death,” they noted.
The Senator Spoke With Donald Trump Before He Passed

The former Air Force lawyer passed away over the weekend, just 2 days after he celebrated his 71st birthday.
“On the evening of Saturday, July 11, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham passed away from a brief and sudden illness,” his office wrote in a statement. “Senator Graham’s family appreciates prayers at this time and asks for privacy during this incredibly difficult period.”
Graham’s death came just days after returning from an official diplomatic trip to Ukraine. After settling in, he apparently spoke with President Trump, who said he’s “like a member of the family” and lamented about how his passing is “very tough.”
In a conversation on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” the billionaire politician narrated how their conversation went, saying Graham called him on Saturday night after returning from his trip, but “sounded a little bit tired, but perfect.”
Emergency Services Responded To A Call For ‘Cardiac Arrest’ From Lindsey Graham’s Residence

Fox News reported that emergency services responded to a call for “cardiac arrest” from Graham’s residence later that evening, before his death was announced on Sunday morning.
As units responded, the dispatcher pointed out that the caller stated that the front door was unlocked, but when they arrived, they discovered it was locked with no response from inside, and had to wait on the Metropolitan Police Department for a response to force entry.
A few minutes later, after the initial dispatch call, radio traffic revealed that CPR was administered, but the first responders didn’t identify Graham by name, nor was his condition described.
On another radio traffic, authorities could be heard saying the incident would be treated as a “Capitol Police matter only.”
The Senator Made A Joke About Dying In One Of His Last Statements

Graham’s passing brings an unexpected end to a momentous, three-decade career in Washington. He was largely known for his hawkish foreign policy stances and a highly publicized political change from a fierce critic to an indispensable confidant of Donald Trump.
After his call with the president, someone else spoke to Graham and noticed he wasn’t feeling well, encouraging him to seek medical attention. However, the Senator chose to wait until the next morning after his scheduled appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
He seemingly referenced death in one of his last speeches while commenting on how much work he still had left to attend to, which included efforts to stabilize the Israel-Saudi Arabia relationship.
“I can’t die now. I still need to do the Russian sanctions, get Iran sorted out, and do Israeli-Saudi normalization,” he allegedly joked, per Axios.
Lindsey Graham’s Death Has Left A Major Political Dent For Republicans

Graham’s death has now triggered an immediate political scramble in his home state of South Carolina.
Republican Governor Henry McMaster is tasked with appointing a temporary successor to serve out the remainder of Graham’s current term until January.
Trump, for his part, already knows who he wants to replace Graham, writing on Truth Social, “I recommended, to Governor Henry McMaster, Lindsey Graham’s wonderful sister, Darline, to serve as interim Senator from the Great State of South Carolina. This would be a fabulous tribute to Lindsey, who loved her dearly!”
State party officials are also expected to hold a special primary election in the coming months to determine who will take Graham’s place on the November general election ballot.
