She explained that although she intends to be at the games in “some capacity,” the state of her mental health plays a big part in her decision to return to the sport.
“I feel like we’re still at a 50-50 and that we’re still on a time crunch here now; it’s almost half of 2026. We’re going to have to make these decisions pretty quickly,” Biles explained, noting that her focus remains on allowing her body to fully recover by taking a break.
