Las Vegas isn’t just a destination for world-class sports, it’s also a favorite getaway for professional athletes looking to relax, dine, and enjoy the city’s entertainment scene.

From celebrity-frequented spots to exclusive nightlife, many of the city’s hottest spots have become a go-to destination for well known sports figures. Whether they’re celebrating a big win, enjoying the offseason, or in town for an event, athletes continue to make Las Vegas one of their favorite places to unwind and enjoy some downtime.

When visiting Las Vegas, here are just a few of the hotspots professional athletes love to pop into.

Looking for a luxury cigar lounge to relax and enjoy a smoke? Eight Lounge inside Resorts World Las Vegas is known as being the spot “where the pros smoke.” It’s become a destination for professional athletes looking for a unique spot to sit back and unwind a bit.

A few athletes who have visited recently include WNBA champions Alysha Clark and Chelsea Gray, NFL stars Maxx Crosby and Von Miller, NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, MLB legend Alex Rodriguez, and NFL legend Marshawn Lynch. Some athletes are private cigar locker holders, including NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, NHL legend Wayne Gretzky, and former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson.

Legendary Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback, four time Super Bowl champion, and multi-Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Terry Bradshaw hosted a Smoke & Sip event at Eight Lounge in early 2026. He offered guests the first taste of Terry’s Black & Gold Rush, a new addition to the lounge’s cocktail menu inspired by his record-breaking career with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Eight Lounge features one of the city’s largest cigar selections, an extensive whiskey collection, and the perfect spots to sit back and relax while enjoying the night. With indoor and outdoor seating, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy some downtime with a cigar and a drink in hand.
