Donald Trump Reports Massive Crypto Windfall Topping $1B

Donald Trump’s cryptocurrency ventures have reportedly generated more than $1 billion in wealth.

The figure was earned in 2025 alone and does not include income from several other business ventures the president is allegedly involved in.

Amid growing scrutiny over potential conflicts of interest surrounding his crypto holdings, the White House has denied any ethical concerns. Trump has also insisted that he is not directly involved in managing his finances.

How Donald Trump Made Over $1B From Crypto

Trump’s latest 927-page financial disclosure has revealed a staggering windfall from his cryptocurrency ventures.

According to the filing, Trump earned approximately $635 million in royalties from an entity known as Celebration Coins, which has been linked in reports to the controversial $TRUMP meme coin.

The disclosure also lists more than $500 million in income from World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency firm co-founded by Trump’s sons alongside the sons of his special envoy, Steve Witkoff.

Altogether, Trump reported $1,430,390,415 in cryptocurrency-related earnings during 2025, accounting for more than half of the at least $2.2 billion in total income disclosed for the year.

The total is also nearly four times the roughly $600 million in income Trump reported in 2024, before returning to office for a second presidential term.

The earnings have sparked increased scrutiny over whether Trump has used the power of the presidency for personal financial gain.

The White House has repeatedly rejected those allegations, including in a recent statement from Deputy White House Press Secretary Anna Kelly.

“Neither the President nor his family has ever engaged – or will ever engage – in conflicts of interest,” the official said, before criticizing her boss’ detractors.

“All actions by President Trump and his administration are taken in the best interest of the American people – and any so-called ‘reporters’ pushing otherwise are recycling the same, tired, false narrative that Democrats and the legacy media have been pushing for a decade,” she added.

Donald Trump Explains His Growing Profits

Trump himself has also weighed in on the discussion surrounding his growing profits, addressing the issue during a conversation with reporters on Wednesday.

“You know why I’m profiting, because the stock market’s going up, everybody’s profiting,” he told reporters.

At the time, Trump also denied claims that he has remained actively involved in his numerous business ventures despite serving as president.

“I don’t get involved in my personal [finances], we have funds that run my money,” Trump added. “I’ve made a lot of money before I became president, and they invest my money, and I don’t talk to them.”

Another notable aspect of Trump’s latest financial disclosure was his extensive share trading activity. The billionaire president disclosed making 21,285 stock trades in 2025 across a wide range of publicly traded companies.

Among the most significant holdings was Nvidia, which became the first publicly traded company to reach a $5 trillion market valuation last October.

According to the disclosure, investment managers overseeing Trump’s portfolio purchased between $5 million and $25 million worth of Nvidia shares. The investment came after Nvidia reached an agreement with the White House to invest billions of dollars in expanding chip manufacturing operations in the United States.

Trump also reportedly traded shares in Microsoft and Apple, with each transaction falling within the same value range as his Nvidia trade. As is standard in U.S. government ethics filings, the value of Trump’s investments is disclosed in dollar ranges rather than exact amounts.

Last year, Trump also generated substantial revenue by licensing his name to a range of branded merchandise.

The real estate mogul sold products including the “Save America” coffee-table book, branded sneakers, fragrances, and a limited-edition “American Eagle” guitar, all of which contributed millions of dollars in income.

Trump also continued to receive pensions from SAG-AFTRA, totaling approximately $86,000 for the year.

His legal disputes with major technology companies also proved lucrative. Trump was awarded $24.5 million from Meta after the company agreed to settle his lawsuit over the suspension of his social media accounts.

In addition, he received a combined $30 million in settlements from X and YouTube, adding to his overall earnings for the year.
